Olive's ideal home

Olive could live with children as young as three years old, provided they are dog-savvy and won't mind a small dog jumping up at them. She could be rehomed with her friend Polly or another calm existing dog within the home. Polly and Olive get on very well with each other, however, we have also seen that they equally can cope without one another. If Olive is rehomed on her own, she could be left on her own for a couple of hours once settled. If rehomed with Polly, leaving hours could increase slightly to up to four hours as she is more settled when she is with canine company. Her new home having a garden is not essential, however, she will need toileting opportunities on regular walks.

Olive is a four-year-old Pug who came into our care with her friend Polly, after being found a stray together. Olive is a fantastically funny dog, who loves to play with her toys and enjoys lounging in her bed in the sun. She loves running around with her friends and sniffing everything. Olive was a little nervous when she first arrived but she is gaining more confidence every! She would love a home where she can truly be part of the family.

Pug Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Pug.

View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
If viewing a puppy under 6 months, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".
