About This Dog for Adoption

Meeko's ideal home

Meeko is a confident, excitable 2-year-old boy whose favourite place in the world is perched right on his human’s lap. He adores meeting new people and soaks up attention, but he needs an adopter who can offer patience, structure, and reassurance. Meeko can become reactive when meeting other dogs, so he’ll benefit from calm, consistent guidance and a home committed to helping him learn that the world isn’t so scary. He has medium energy, enjoys play and affection in equal measure, and once settled hecan be left for up to four hours. Meeko was previously housetrained (odd accident to be expected as he adjusts). A private, secure garden is a must to give him safe outdoor space away from unfamiliar dogs.

Could you be Meeko's perfect match?

Meeko can live with cats and children aged 6+, and he would absolutely love to find a home with his best friend, Widget. He isn’t suited to living with any other dogs beyond Widget, and his new family should be ready to manage his reactivity when out and about. Our behaviour team are available to advice on this. If you’re looking for a loving companion who bonds closely, thrives on human company, and will reward your patience with unwavering loyalty (and plenty of lap cuddles),then Meeko might just be the perfect match.
