Milo
About This Dog
Milo's ideal home
Milo is a charming 9 year old pug cross with a real zest for life. He loves nothing more than heading out on his walks, taking his time to explore the world taking in all the interesting sights and, of course, indulging in plenty of sniffing along the way.
A true people-lover, Milo thrives on human company and will happily soak up all the fuss and attention you can give him. He has been housetrained, although he may need a little refresher and some patience as he settles into his new home and routine.
Milo has shown lovely manners when meeting other dogs out on walks. While he’s not especially playful with them, he is polite and could potentially live with a calm, easy going dog, following a successful meet at the centre.
Food is definitely the way to Milo’s heart, and he’ll be more than happy to make friends with anyone offering a tasty treat or two!
Milo could live with children aged 12 and over, as long as they understand the importance of giving him space when he needs it.
When it comes to other dogs, Milo has been well-behaved on his walks. While he’s not particularly interested in playtime with them, he is polite and could potentially share his home with a calm, like-minded dog, pending a successful introduction at the centre.
One thing that’s guaranteed to win Milo over is food, it's definitely the way to his heart! With his sweet nature, love of companionship, and enthusiasm for life’s simple pleasures, Milo would make a wonderful addition to a loving home.
Could you be Milo's perfect match?
This dog is currently being rehomed under our Homestay scheme. Under this scheme, the dog stays with their current owner until the point of adoption, when ownership transfers briefly to Dogs Trust and then to the new adopters. The benefits of Homestay for a dog are that it minimises disruption and prevents the dog having to come into kennels, however there is the potential the owner may pull out of the scheme prior to adoption. We understand the upset this may cause to potential adopters, and we work closely with owners to minimise the likelihood of this. However, it remains a possibility, and should this occur, Dogs Trust will prioritise finding adopters an alternative suitable dog.
