Jay's ideal home

Jay is looking for an active home, with adopters who will take him on lots of fun adventures and give him all of the love and care he deserves. He can live with children aged 10 and over who are comfortable with a bouncy, playful dog, who will play with him nicely and will give him space to relax and rest when needed. Jay would benefit from living with another dog who he can learn from, that will give him a playmate and some reassurance when needed, he cannot live with cats or other small furries. He would be happy with friendly walking buddies. He has a little training under his belt, he does a lovely “sit”, he would benefit from puppy training and is keen to learn for a tasty treat. He will need housetraining in his new home so access to a garden is needed. Jay can be worried being left alone, so is looking for adopters who are at home the majority of the time, at least to begin with and any leaving time should be built up slowly once he has had time to get used to his new home and routine and would ideally be after a walk so he can relax and have a snooze! Jay will need to meet his adopters a few times prior to going home so please bear this in mind when applying. Please note that should you be shortlisted, our rehoming process usually takes up to 7 days, and potential adopters would be required to come up to the centre to meet him within 48hrs of being shortlisted.

Sweet boy Jay is a 9 month old Pug cross who loves nothing more than being around his favourite people and doggy pals. He is a funny little soul who loves playing with toys, he will jump and run around after them. He absolutely loves a fuss and will climb all over you for more, if you stop too soon he will bark at you to inform you that he needs more attention. He is a foodie boy and will take any treat offered to him. This cute little lad is available to adopt.
